Stated overnight for a workshop with work. They need more signs at the front to point where the reception was. We thought it was the first building but it was the club house. The sign pointing to the main building was behind the club house. Food could be better. Some sirloin was too rare and we thought the rice was a bit undercooked. Nonetheless, beautiful and calm place.

We stayed a night at Elisefarm and it was lovely. The place is modern and beautifully decorated. We appreciated the lounge area where we could play games (board games, shuffleboard...). Our bedroom with private bathroom was very bright, modern and clean. It was close to a shared balcony. We also enjoyed the boutique (beautiful products) and the nice recommendations from the team. Next time I hope we can try the spa 🙂

Fantastic place! Very friendly staff, excellent food from breakfast to a lacarte and brunch. Beautiful surroundings. Im sure you'll like it here. I certainly did.

A nice facility with some logistical downsides and uneven food and service. The first thing I noticed upon entering is an overwhelming smell or “signature scent”. This was pleasant, but far too concentrated in public areas like the reception and upstairs fika lounge, to the point that it interfered with enjoying food and gave one colleague a headache. The fact that the windows did not open in the meeting rooms made the smell more oppressive (clearly others had tried to do the same before us as the window handle was broken). They advertise a gym and pool, but the outdoor pool is only open during summertime and the gym is permanently closed with some vague discussion of eventual restoration. Ok but not great to reach via public transit, the Fogdarp bus stop is a 1 km walk on a large road paralleling the noisy E 22Highway. Be sure to allow extra time to walk further and go under the highway for the return bus in the direction of Lund and Malmö. The quality of both food and service was highly variable. About half the reception and restaurant staff was friendly and helpful while the other half were hard to find or engage. This made it difficult to raise any issues on site. The quality of the dinner was excellent, lunch and breakfast were good not great. We found it strange that the server opened the bottle of recommended but not included wine before asking us what we would like to drink, pushed us heavily towards the recommended wine, and seemed unhappy and reluctant to bring the wine list or serve us a different wine. We were only served one bottle of tap water with dinner, which was not refilled when empty (I had to enter the kitchen to ask for a refill). The room walls are extremely thin. My room shared a (locked) door with a colleague, and I could hear every word of their phone call home. Starting at 6am, you could hear every sound from the hallway of doors, showers, luggage etc as if they were in your room. Better insulation would be a major improvement to sleep and room quality. The setting is pleasant with a distant view of the lake (on the other side of the freeway) but very golf focused, in trying to go for a walk we ended up walking on the golf course as we didn’t find other paths from the hotel.

Room. Was nice stupid engineering design to put the toilet paper roll holder directly under the towel drying hooks. Paper thin walls.can hear everything in the other room. Service. Nice. But took over 20min and a second reminder to re light the fire place in the waiting room. Location. Nice Spa. Engineering nightmare. - Steam sauna has the heating element directly under the cold water shower tap(good luck holding onto that) - dry sauna is made with tiled floor and seating (welcome to hell) you literally can not get comfortable anywhere and are constantly burning yourself. Not to mention whenever the spa bubbles turned on in the pump room next to the sauna it would sound like a pit stop of cleaners with vacuums. Food. - 3 course meal 6/10 - coffee not worth it. -the rum and ginger alcoholic drink was 🔥.
