Sand Golf Club

Very bad experience at Sand Golf Club. After booking a tee time today along with golf equipment, I arrived to find that the bag was put together at random, with whatever irons they happened to have on hand. Not a single iron from the same brand, no matching shafts. Some irons were for children, and the driver was for women. It was therefore impossible to enjoy the round. For a golf club that claims to be high quality, the services were far from meeting expectations. Apart from telling me they were sorry, no solution was offered.

Absolutely love the course and will definitely come back! Greens are fast, firm and very well tended. Fairways are great. Tee boxes could be improved on some holes but overall they are good. The design is a bit questionable on the back 9, the holes are quite close to each other and the paths between the green and next tee is a bit long. The restaurant is what lowers the score. We chose the todays lunch and no salad was left and was not refilled. The potatoes were cooked the day before and reheated in water and had a "skin" of a sort. The fish was not prepared at the restaurant, just warmed up. Also, the cook should NOT sit among guests and eat dinner in his work wear. Just a hint. Still, I will absolutely come back!

‚Wow, summarizes the experience (played from 63) very well; it‘s unique in any aspect: scenery, layout, difficulty and challenge. One has to be sure of its lengths of each club; precision is a must, on each hole (quite a few are ‚hidden’ drives); and a soft touch is required around greens and on greens (greens are extremely fair though). The course is, as of today, in great shape, despite the long period of dry weeks before. For the Management - Really a brilliant course but: - Please ensure the driving range is open if there are players expected (even on Monday mornings) - especially on such a course it‘s important to be able to warm up properly, and … - The white plastic markers: 1) it would be great if they are in different colours so one doesnt get confused about what distance it is (maybe one of them is hidden, then a player thinks the first one they see is 150 instead of 200 meters); 2) distances are sometimes wrong (eg checked hole 18 and my rangefinder showed 143 meters at the 150 marker) Thanks a lot again for this great golf experience - outstandingly done!

Fantastic golf course. A little to difficult for me (hcp 18) but lots of fun either way. Doesn´t compare to any other golf courses I played in Sweden. Well done!

This is a unique experience. A links course away from the sea. The fairways and greens are in very good condition. They wind their way between tall dunes, bunkers and lakes. It looks impossible but somehow manages to very playable. The clubhouse is a contemporary design and the terrace and saunas look down over the 18th green. Highly recommended.
